This image above will take you to the digimon card game card list, sorting each card by what set they are in.
Right now they have released 8 sets and 10 structure decks.
Each set has a name and a number that represents what set its is, if its the first set released or the 5th one.
The first set that released in america is ver 1.0 containing the first 3 sets from japan.
Its also same for amricas second set ver 1.5 containing the other cards from the first 3 sets.
These sets are the start of introducing many more mechanics and cards.
Then the 3rd set released in america is Great Legend
introducing the hybrid mechanic and the digiburst mechanic.
Some digimon with the skill hybrid may digivolve from a tamer in play allowing players to get more digimon on the field by using their tamers
While digiburst allows the player to discard their digivolution cards to activate a skill.
The digivolution cards are cards that are at the bottom of the digivolved cards.
Then the 4th set released called Battle Of Omni
introducing another new mechanic called blitz while also improving some of the core mechanics of the game and adding tokens which can only be used by "unidentified" type digimon.
What blitz does is when you digivole with a digimon with the blitz skill while also using using too much memory going to your opponents turn allows you to attack with the blitz digimon.
Tokens are used to be destroyred to activate a skill or just continusly attack the security
The 5th set that released is Double Diamond
Which didn't add any new mechanics but added a new architype of digimon and having a playable white digimon cards that aren't just level 7s.
Mentioning some of the new archityes, there are the "3 muscketters" cards that mostly focused on using option cards and playing them for free. the cards are a combination of red cards, black cards, and purple cards.
They also added more support to the holy knight architype and the dragon kin architype.
With that there are the playable white cards are the Eosmon line and the cards allow the player to have no restrictions of many copies of a certanin card they can have in their deck.
The 6th set released was a side set called Classic Collection [EX-01]
a set with the old artwork from the old digimon card game but with new skills and playable in the new card game.
The set is mainly for fan service and appealing to those who played the original card game to get back in and nostalgia fuel.
This set just has cards that support other decks one way or another and building them up.
The company is planning to release more types of sets like this to appeal to the older palyers.
The 7th set went back to the main line of digimon sets and its called Next Adventure
adding hybrid cards to every color (except white),
Introducing memory boost cards,
alowing the same level of digimon to digivole on top of each other,
and introducing the main x-antibody architype for black(which will improve later).
The set mainly focused on the support of hybrid digimon,
making tamer cards that have inherit effects when a hybrid digivolves on top of them and haveing a digimon card that can digivolve from every color.
The 8th and last set that released so far in america is New Awakening
A set that added Armor purge, and more digimon that digivolve from othor colors.
This set mostly focuses on veemon and the concept of armor purge wich is only on level 4 digimon.
What armor purge does is when a digimon with armor purge is deleted it only delets the level 4 digimon keeping the rookie in play.
